You’ve probably noticed that I’ve been spending quite a lot of time lately wandering through fields, swooning over tipis and enjoying the great outdoors (whilst trying to avoid getting sunburnt at all costs!).
Well, that’s because I am becoming a little bit obsessed with tipi weddings. And I am very fortunate to now be working with an incredible tipi venue that’s just a few miles from my home.
Elmbridge Farm is a stunning lakeside wedding venue with wild woodland, restful water and of course the stunning four-hat tipi, all topped off with fairy lights, firepits and farmland galore, making it an idyllic setting for your special day.
You can have exclusive use of the venue for the duration of your booking, with use of their bar, top-of-the-range sound system, and all the essential facilities you need. But the beauty of a tipi is that it’s a literal blank canvas to work with - once you’ve hired the space you’re free to do what you want with what you have. Choose your own caterers, florists, stylists, band, bring in your own drinks… and you can have your day, your way!
Amy & Dan, the owners, have been lucky to have family on this farm for a number of years. With the addition of the gorgeous holiday cottages, it’s become a home from home for holiday-makers too. The addition of the tipi means it is now the host of some very special weddings and events, too.
If you need a little help figuring out what you want and need for a venue like this, I can always be on hand to talk you through the options. And you’ll be needing a co-ordinator on the day, too, which is why I’ve joined the team at Elmbridge to ensure there is someone you can turn to, and who can oversee your day from start to finish.
